Bank Requirements

Payment Express customers need to arrange a "merchant facility" with First Data Merchant Solutions. For more information on the banks that are presently supported, please visit the connectivity page.

Supported card types are Visa and MasterCard.

To accept American Express or Diners Club, please speak with your bank.

To facilitate the settlement of funds between Payment Express and your bank, Payment Express will need to be provided with the following details

3D Secure

3D Secure encryption is available for First Data Merchant Solutions merchants only.

Preauthorisation / Completion

Preauthorisation / completion is a two stage transactional process which involves validating a credit card in its first phase before completing the transaction. To facilitate this type of transaction, preauthorisation / completion or tipping as it is sometimes known as must be enabled at your bank.
